While we usually wouldn’t recommend using such a primo product in your cooking, this spirit’s notes of peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce—finishing with caraway seed, sweet spices and a hint of salinity mean it’s incredibly balanced in sweet, indulgent desserts. This recipe for Fancy Pecan Pie will make every other pie feel like a disappointment to its parents. It’s chewy and sweet and just the right portion size (a whole pie) for sharing between two in self-isolation. Or why not try this old-school tiramisu? Ditch the rum, sub in our Rye Malt Whisky and you have yourself one genius spiked dessert.
