WE HAVE A BRAND NEW FOOD MENU
We pay great attention to every aspect of distilling spirits at Archie Rose, so recently we’ve enjoyed turning the same laser-eyed focus onto our snacks menu. The Archie Rose Bar food offering remains, as always, completely delicious, and now also acts as a showreel of some of the wonderful produce our friends and neighbours are making.
From cheesemonger Kristen Allen just down the road in Alexandria we have an ash-rolled fresh goat’s cheese, perfectly paired with chewy sourdough from the original sourdough master, Iggy’s bread in Bronte. We’re particularly fond of the smooth and rich chicken liver paté by Kingsmore Meats, not only because they’re located in The Cannery next door (handy if we run out!), but also because it’s topped with a jelly infused with our Signature Dry Gin. Kingsmore’s supply of charcuterie including fennel salami, lonza (cured pork) and bresaola is also right on the money. Collaboration tastes pretty sweet when there’s salami involved. Can’t choose? Don’t hold back, order our Grand Platter, which comes with a little bit of all of the above.
Vegans, we haven’t forgotten you. Our hefty vegan platter is piled with hummus, baba ganoush, crunchy pickled vegetables, braised green beans and more of that terrific Iggy’s bread.
We’ll see you in the bar really soon for a taste test.
