Whisky Classes and a New Guided Tasting at the Bar

Whether you’re a whisky novice or a seasoned connoisseur, we host a number of whisky-centred experiences at the Archie Rose Bar & Cellar Door, home to our original distillery, in Rosebery, Sydney.

Guided by our resident experts, you can learn to navigate the world of whisky in our Introduction to Whisky Class. For those ready to explore more, you can discover what makes Australian whisky so celebrated and enjoy the best of Australian distilling in our Australian Whisky Masterclass. Willing to experiment with your new knowledge, you can transform into a spirits blender for the day to create your own personalised whisky in our much-loved Blend Your Own Whisky Class.

For those wanting to deepen their understanding of our whiskies, we’ve introduced a new whisky focused experience with our Archie Rose Whisky Tasting. Over the course of an hour, we’ll take you through a storied tasting of five of our own whiskies, including the Archie Rose Single Malt Whisky (Eight Times Australia’s Best Single Malt Whisky), Rye Malt Whisky (Three Times World’s Best Rye Whisky), our new Double Malt Whisky and two limited edition releases.

After class, we’ll send you home with a 200ml bottle of our award-winning Single Malt Whisky for you to savour at home. And, for an added garnish, you’ll also get a 10% discount on a spirit bottle purchased from the Archie Rose Cellar Door on the day.
