Blend Your Own Whisky Class

I can't recommend this experience highly enough! The Archie Rose team were generous and friendly from the moment we arrived. The class was informative and fun and my husband ended up with a happy hangover (also recommend taking the next day off work!!) . We did this as a Christmas/Birthday present but any excuse will do. We are going to do the gin blending class next!!

The class was unlike anything I’ve done before. Learnt so much about whiskey that I didn’t know and enjoyed the creativity behind it. Our instructor made the vibes amazing. Will definitely be coming back for the other experiences on offer.

A group of friends and I took the whiskey blending class, led by Michael for a tour of their distillery and the fermentation process. He was enthusiastic, funny and passionate about their operation, as were the still masters who happily shared knowledge. Simon who led the blending was equally passionate and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about regionality and discerning our own preferences in whiskey taste. The evening felt warm, generous and inclusive. I get a sense that there's a great team here and look forward to my next visit.
