Say Goodbye to Summer with a Heavy Cane Cocktail

Archie Rose Heavy Cane packs a punch when it comes to flavour. We threw it with gusto into our favourite tropical cocktails, and every single one of them smashed it out of the park.

If we’re to talk you through the tasting notes, think local brown sugar and spun sugar, custard cream biscuits and caramelised pineapple. We then reached for one of our favourite summer treats: the Mango Weis bar. Glory descended upon us.

Here’s how to bathe yourself in that glory at home:

Gather:

Juice of half a lime

10ml cane syrup

30ml Heavy Cane

1 Mango Weis bar

Then blitz in a blender for 20 seconds. Pour into a cocktail glass. Try to drink it slowly—we’re fairly confident that you’ll inevitably fail.

We’ve put it on the menu at the Archie Rose bar and it’s instantly become our best-selling drink. The beauty of it is that anyone can make this at home. It takes five minutes, at a push.

You could also whip up several, depending on the size of your blender. To increase serves, simply multiply the recipe by the number of serves.
