After Dark at the Hyde Park Barracks, 25 February
This month, After Dark at the Hyde Park Barracks is celebrating Mardi Gras with a program that spotlights queer history, music and art. Come say hi - we’ll be there hosting our very own Archie Rose pop-up bar.
My Trans Story, 26 February
Join proud trans and gender diverse storytellers as they celebrate their histories with stories that focus on more than just gender.
Queer Thinking, 27 February
Benjamin Law, Patrick Abboud and Julie McCrossin are each hosting panel discussions covering LGBTQI+ topics, from dating when you’re different to resilience and resistance.
King of Kings, 27 February
This one night only Drag King competition will see both Baby Kings & King of Kings battle it out in their respective categories. Head along to see who takes the crown, and sip our Canned Cocktails while you’re there.
Paddo Inn, 1-7 March
The Paddo Inn will be celebrating big all week with a dedicated Mardi Gras menu that includes our juicy Bottled Cocktails. Expect a live stream and drag shows on Parade night.
The Imperial, 2-7 March
The Erskineville icon is bringing us 15 events across the week, including workshops, a special edition of the deliciously entertaining Drag'N'Dine event and a Mardi Gras party to cap it all off.
The Bearded Tit, 6 March
This Redfern neighbourhood bar is an institution run by members of the queer community, so you can bet it will be going off on Mardi Gras night. Expect stellar performances, a live stream of the parade, and punch that gets its kick from our Signature Dry Gin.
Daniel San, 6 March
Over in Manly you can catch the parade at Daniel San. The bar is holding a beachside viewing party hosted by Fran Giapanni and raising money for Wear It Purple.
Taylor's Rooftop, 6 March
The CBD bar is throwing a viewing party with two sittings, so you can choose to swing by for the early or late session. Better yet, $10 will be donated to Wear It Purple for every person who books a spot.
Swing by a Window Display
It's Gay Christmas! And fittingly, window displays full of rainbow spirit have popped up all over Sydney. A special shout-out goes to Liquor on Oxford's amazing floral installation, but be sure to check out Camperdown Cellars Parramatta Road, Camperdown Cellars Double Bay and Corkscrew Cellars too.
