LATEST CULTURAL COLLABORATIONS

Last year we were incredibly proud to announce our partnership with one of our favourite museums, Sydney’s Australian Museum. We’re working on a raft of collaborations to help celebrate the Museum’s 190th anniversary in 2017, including limited-edition spirits to be released in conjunction with upcoming exhibitions, activations at events and other secret ideas we have on the boil.

The combination of history, tradition and innovation is close to our hearts at Archie Rose, and the Distillery’s founder, Will Edwards, has a long connection with the Museum, having visited time and time again while studying at Sydney Grammar just next door. “To work with such an incredible institution is an absolute honour,” he says, “despite the Museum being 189 years older than us!”

Over the summer we spent our evenings mixing cocktails behind the bar at one of the hottest gigs in town, the St George Open-Air Cinema on the water at the edge of Sydney’s Botanic Gardens. As the three-storey cinema screen lifted over the harbour to booming tunes we served the crowd with thousands of Gin Collins with lemon myrtle and soda, Blue Skies with blueberries and our Original Vodka, and White Rye under the Wattle Trees with PS40’s wattle cola, lime and soda.

If you missed the season on the harbour, the films are still in cinemas, our pick of the bunch was T2: Trainspotting.
