How To Do StickyBeak Like A Pro

Book Your Tickets – We recommend that you grab your tickets ahead of time here. We will have tickets available at the door if space allows.

We’re bringing together over 20 of Sydney’s best bars and restaurants all in one place, plus a fantastic lineup of local DJs and live music from our friends at fbi.radio (94.5FM), so there’s something for everyone. Feel free to bring your friends, family, neighbours, colleagues, and even your dog!

Kids 12 and under can attend for free, and this year, we’ve got a few surprises lined up for the little ones. Just a heads up — due to licensing, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Plan Your Route – Arrive early, check the map, and prioritise your must-visit venues. Make a list in advance, bring a group of friends, and divide and conquer. Expect lines during peak times, so we recommend arriving early to avoid waiting too long, and ensuring you don’t miss out on a must-have from your hit list.

Most vendors will offer a vegetarian option on their menu, but we've also invited our friends from Flyover Fritterie in Redfern, famous for their vegetarian Chaat with vegan options available. Additionally, newcomer Flora, from the Porteno Group — one of three new venues they've just opened on Australia St, Newtown — is all vegetarian as well. Their menu includes a gazpacho, mushroom taco and a refreshing non-alcoholic shrub.

Pack Smart – Bring a tote bag for takeaways (hint: there’s a cracking Archie Rose goodie bag—any guesses on what’s inside?), it will also come in handy if you want to grab something special from the bottle shop on your way out. Wear comfy shoes, and stay hydrated.

Arrive at StickyBeak early enough, and you can snag a prime picnic spot on the grass in front of the stage — just don’t forget a blanket! And to stay prepared, pack some wet weather gear — if you bring an umbrella, it won’t rain, it’s Murphy’s Law.

Moving Between the Producers – What’s on offer? Pace yourself, cleanse your palate, eat and drink smart.

With so many wonderful things to try, deciding where to start will be the hardest part! The festival layout ensures a diverse mix of options in every area, with bars and restaurants spread throughout the Goods Line. Whether you’re the type to plan ahead or prefer to go with the flow, you’re in for a treat — expect 14 different restaurants, a P&V wine bar, and six cocktail bars, each serving original cocktails featuring Archie Rose spirits.

Want to curate your own menu from your top five restaurants and bars? Go for it! Prefer to try a little of everything? You might need to come back on Saturday. The best strategy? Bring a group so you can divide and conquer.

Not drinking? There will be plenty of non-alcoholic options at each bar, thanks to Sobah, local newcomer Indigo Sodas. And old mates Fever-Tree. Plus, you’ll find a range of non-alcoholic drinks from Lankan Filling Station, Attenzione! and Flora.

Plan Limited Experiences – Look out for exclusive tastings, masterclasses, and behind-the-scenes sessions!

Discover one of our Archie Rose spirits tastings dotted throughout the event. Archie Rose ambassadors will be hosting free tastings throughout the night, so stop by one of the tasting locations to try something new, and learn about Australian spirits and Archie Rose.

Tabasco, beloved by hot sauce enthusiasts worldwide, is joining StickyBeak this year. Head to the Tabasco tent to meet Morgan McGlone from Bar Copains, Bessies & Bar Alma, who will be cooking with Tabasco. If you're lucky, you might even score a travel-sized mini Tabasco!

Check out the Free Talks & Tasting Stage for insights from Archie Rose, P&V, Tabasco, Grifter Brewing Co., and more. It’s the perfect spot to learn from industry experts while sampling some rare drops.

Last year’s Good Food Guide Awards’ New Restaurant of the Year, FIREPOP, will be onsite, serving their signature yakitori-style skewers. Be sure to stop by for a taste — though vegetarians may want to sit this one out!

On the main stage, fbi.radio has curated a different lineup of music for each night. So if you decide to come both nights, you’ll get a fresh experience every time!
