Archive Stock - Stringybark Single Malt Whisky

Since 2014, we've archived a case or two of every Australian spirit we've produced at both our Rosebery and Botany Distilleries. We're now dropping a limited selection of this archive stock online, giving you the opportunity to grab a final bottle of your favourite Archie Rose spirit.

Released in 2022, as the eleventh release in the Trials & Exceptions series and the second tribute to Australia’s majestic eucalypt trees, Stringybark Smoked Single Malt Whisky is a milestone in our quest to source all seven malts from within NSW. Following the first release of Red Gum Smoked Single Malt Whisky, this release showcases our commitment to craft a quintessential smoked whisky, replacing Scottish peated malt with Australian wood-smoked malt.

Crafted from a five-malt mash bill, it features locally roasted or smoked malt from the native stringybark tree. This whisky offers flavours of campfire smoke, smoked meats, marzipan, amaretto, and scotch finger biscuits.
