Archive Stock - Single Cask Whisky Batch No.3 SM2345: Single Malt Whisky

Since 2014, we've archived a case or two of every Australian spirit we've produced at both our Rosebery and Botany Distilleries. Now, we’re sharing them with you, we'll be dropping a limited selection of this archival stock via our website, giving you the opportunity to grab a final bottle of your favourite Archie Rose spirit.

As an expression of our ongoing commitment to producing the highest quality Australian whiskies, Archie Rose is proud to continue the ethos of our Single Cask Series with the release of three exceptional Batch No. 3 whiskies. Representing the pinnacle of our whisky-making endeavours, each whisky in the series has been hand-selected by our distillery team, who have set out to find the most impressive casks from the 45,000 we have in our warehouse.

This rare cask of Single Malt Whisky has been patiently matured for over five years in Australian fortified (apera) wine casks. Hand-selected from thousands, the distinctive complexity of this rich whisky earned its place in our Single Cask program. The nose reveals notes of chinotto, chocolate sauce and polished floorboards, while the palate delivers sweet tobacco, truffles and roasted hazelnuts. It's a whisky of singular depth and power.
