As an expression of our ongoing commitment to producing the highest quality Australian whiskies, we are proud to continue the ethos of our Single Cask Series with the release of three exceptional Batch No. 2 whiskies.
Released at natural cask strength and matured for nearly six years in virgin American oak, Rye Malt Whisky Cask R638 provides a rich and complex aroma that yields glace fruits, shortbread biscuit and almond nougat, along with a palate of gingerbread, nutmeg and allspice. This is a cask not to be missed with an incredibly limited run of only 73 bottles available.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Opens with a complex array of glacé fruits, bread and butter pudding and french vanilla bean ice cream. There are notes of shortbread biscuits, polished floorboards, almond nougat and a hint of XO cognac.
Palate
A structured and rich palate offers the flavour of homemade Scottish gingerbread, freshly ground nutmeg, black pepper and allspice.
Finish
Offering black tea, licorice bullets and a wealth of baking spices which give dimension and length to the bold yet dry conclusion.

Matured for nearly 6 years in virgin American oak. Imparting high levels of vanilla, sweet spices and coconut. The oak in these casks is air-dried then toasted and charred for us to help create our signature flavour profile.
Our pale malt speaks to the Australian land where it was grown, delivering tropical fruit flavours with floral overtones.
