In response to the latest Victorian lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Archie Rose Distilling Co. is offering to all licensed Victorian hospitality venues up to five cases of complimentary 500ml bottles of Archie Rose Hand Sanitiser.

With 120,000 equivalent units produced since March to bolster national supplies and redeploy 30 hospitality workers to the bottling line, Archie Rose is now offering their hand sanitiser free to any Victorian bar, restaurant, hotel or bottle shop to help safeguard staff and patrons.

“In light of recent news in Victoria, we’re offering up to an initial 2000 bottles of Archie Rose Hand Sanitiser to assist venues with staying open, deliveries or takeaways — or to stay safe when they plan to reopen once the lockdown lifts,’ says Archie Rose founder, Will Edwards. “It’s a small gesture but hopefully one which will in some way help venues and their patrons to remain safe and open for business.”

The product formulation for Archie Rose Hand Sanitiser is a liquid consistency based on the World Health Organisation as well as Australian Department of Health guidelines for effective and safe sanitiser and was the winner of Time Out’s Time In Awards for Favourite Boozy Hand Sanitiser in May 2020. The botanical distillates include native finger lime, cassia and raspberry continuing to draw from the same 100% natural stock Archie Rose uses for its gin production. Based on the very short supply of 500ml bottles and pumps from key suppliers around Australia, these bottles will be white PET with caps and no pumps included.

Please also note with a 65% ABV this product is consumer-grade and not suitable for use in a medical capacity due to the restrictions that exist around shipping products that are 70% ABV and above.
